    Moose hunt 2015

Had a amazing Moose hunt this year. Put the Frontier through a test from hell. Put 50 miles on the argo the last 5 miles was loaded with camping gear, a quartered moose and 2 big guys, the front of the Argo was light and the rear was weighted down.

My hunting buddy and I found this moose after watchiching a nice muskeg for a day and a half before he walked out at 150 yrds, we had to wait for the moose to stop in a good opening with out and shrubs in the way. Butchered it under headlamps, argo, lights and northern lights. Once we were done we drove out in the dark it took 2 hrs to travel 5 miles. Love the argo it made short work out of some nasty trails.

Sounds like a great hunt. Congrats! Sounds like the Argo sure earned its keep.
What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.

Great hunt and thanks for the pics. Now time to enjoy the meat. My season starts on the 19th Sep for archery. Hopefully I can get my moose with the bow again this year.
Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.

    Nice moose, congrats.

Not much of a story to mine. I launched my boat, first thing on opening morning, had it idling/warming up at 05:30, headed up the river and had my moose down by 06:00. Home and hanging in the shop by 09:00.
Only took one pic, as I was by myself and knew it was going to warm right up that day.

Nice hunt. I didn't get to go this year, so I am a little jealous. Thanks for posting.
