Ok..so who's Matt O? lol i might have to take some vacation days for this one..lol
It's Matt Oxender. He was trying to sell it quite a while back on attexatvs.com for $1,200 without the original engines and some of the tires missing. He got it from a guy in Tennessee whose step father was a part owner of Attex. The guy still pops up on ebay with some NOS Attex stuff for sale, I believe his user name on ebay is trigreekfatherof2 or something along those lines.

    Here's a pic from 6X6World member Joe M.....

It does float. It had Styrofoam all under the metal deck to make it buoyant.

I can't imagine styrofoam lasting very long under there.....

I'm 99% sure my uncle had one of these that basically rotted away. I remember jumping around on it as a kid.

It shouldnt need styrafoam to float! i figured out the bouent force per tire here:

    http://www.6x6world.com/forums/tire-...-wheels-2.html

You get about 130 lbs of flotation from each 22X11X8 tire. 130X32 tires means it will float 4160 LBS in the water!!!

The one in JP's picture was the one I was referring to, and it only has 16 tires, 2080 LBS of bouyancy. I don't see how you could get 32 tires under it, unless you ran triples on the outside.

According to the factory Attex sales brochure they did have Styrofoam in them as a matter of fact.
