    New Hustler Owner

New to the 6x6 scene, great site, lots of good info. Happened across this little beauty the other day so I made the guy a lowball offer...and he took it. Maybe some of the more seasoned members can give me a little insight on what I have. Heres what I know so far, its a 1980 Hustler. It has a 500cc 2stroke Chapperal engine, bucket seats, aluminium roll bar and tracks. Additional info and advice would be awesome

Very nice machine......it should say on the dash plate the model number. I'm guessing a it's a Hustler 900. The Chaparral G50B is a rocket of an engine......Attex used it in the Superchief and Max used it in the early Max IV models. You've got yourself an excellent machine here and if you need any pointers post a question in the Hustler section of the site and I'm sure there'll be many helpful Hustler owners that can help you along.

Looks great! I can't really see many details in the pics of how the tracks are set up or if that's a 950 or a 980 Hustler. Do you have some more pics? We'd love to see. That Hustler is a monster with the tracks on it!

It's a standard short tub Hustler, but the track systems seems to lift it up. Very cool! I've never seen a track system like that.......does it look like it's a factory original?

That is an unusual track system. Please post some detail photos showing the underside of the body and how the axles are connected.

It reminds me of the Ratcliffe (lifted Attex). You definitely have some good ground clearance.
