IMG_1890.jpgdiamond shifters 002.jpg
Your shift mechanism attaches to the 2 diamond shifters located next to the output sprockets. These will be all the way back when in reverse and all the way forward when in forward. If your mechanism does this, pull them and check the little pins. The 1/4" round dowel pins move the internal shift collar that determines forward and reverse. These often break off or get flat spots making shifting hard or impossible.
