That may be a hard one....JerseyBigfoot will hopefully chime in, or I will ask JPSwift when I talk to him. They are the only two guys I know with 980's that have the original motor.

Hey Turner,

I was searching some previous threads and found that the Dayco part# for a Kohler 16HP was a Dayco 1078. However; I do not know if they used the same belt for the Briggs and the Kohler??

I sent an e-mail to a buddy, soon as I hear back from him, I'll let you know.
