I have a 1050t with the 29hp Kawasaki motor. It does not seem to have the low end torque that I expected it to have. It has the heavier clutch spring in it.I have two belts for it and they both have...
I had the same problem with my Max IV with factory tracks. I increased the air pressure by 2.5lbs a tire and it fixed it.No problems since .
They also used to run 400 twin cylinder JLO engines we had two of them. they were good machines but finicky.
I dont know how steep they will climb before they tip, but I have been on enough angle climbing a beaver dam that I had water run over the back of my max1V and it was still climbing. But I run tracks.
I tried a 30lb thrust motor on the rear of my max iv with tracks on. Did not help one bit.
Thanks Rusty-Gunn :o)
How often are you guys changing the oil in the T20 ?
I have the factory rubber tracks on my Max iV and there is no comparison in how much better they ride over logs compared to tires. Also you will not get hung up by a log with a tire on each side of...
I no trouble with beads leaking when airing down the tires , but do not run tubes as tbone9 said i ripped off more valve stems in a week then i had tires on my buggy.
I have the 29 hp and I believe mine is the 1050t.
My 2008 1050t Max iv is grey.
I put my max iv up on the lift . Let the air out of the tires and roll my tracks on like a belt. Its a grunt but doable and I am just shy of 60 so i am sure you can
do the same .
I run a 2018 Ram 2500 quad cab with the 6.7 cummins and factory off road package. LOVE the truck for power and fuel economy. But really dislike the factory TPS system.
I know going up that slope will be treacherous but coming down will be no joy ride either. We have about a 30-35 degree hill where we moose hunt. Last winter my buddy had gone up it with his argo...
A 40 degree incline is pretty darn steep , if you hit the slightest hump going up you may go over backwards. Not sure i would want to do it in my max.I think your asking for trouble, but thats just...
Thanks Racerone3 much appreciated
Thanks Garrettpe .With mine being as lose as it is , do you think it might be the cause of my low end torque issues ?
Ok guys I need help here again. How much deflection should i have on my belt. I have just shy of 2 inches. Is that to much?
Yeral as far as I know they won't. Hopefully someone else will give you more info.
