If your fan is working, look at the fluid to make sure it has not turned, check that the discs are clean of oils. If you change the fluid use for 5.

We have as a family somewhere around 8-10000 hours on first gen machines between the 4 of us with hydraulic brakes, the only issues we have had were either heat, debris, fluid or fluid leakage like bad seals in caliper or master.

increasing the torque with a bigger engine will show a big improvement in turning especially going up hill. the rev kit work well to increase water and land speed in the flats. removing the governor will eliminate the governor pull in hesitation on throttle roll in.

Well, I'm lucky as far service, minor repairs go. My local guy is a shade tree kind of mechanic who can fix most anything. Of course that won't help with warranty stuff. My machine has tracks on it so I'm waiting for a lot of snow. Hate traveling all the way up to the county.
