Rock Doc, sorry for the late response I have been out of town. Go to ebay and type " HID offroad lights " this will give you a good idea of what you are looking at. You can also buy some cheap standard KC style offroad lights and convert them to HID with an HID balast kit from ebay. HID light are not as cheap as standard lights but the diffrence is like a flash light compaired to a 12V spotlight. The amp draw for HID lights are a 1/8th of a standard light and they put out 10 times the lumes.

Thanks Doc. Never thought of that. Ouch! I can see that happening very easily. Looks like your girls have a ball on the argos, they are so cute!

Sounds like most of the winches and parts are pretty much the same, or made at the same place? Anyway, he puts his own together. Acording to tim, the tunners aren't needed on the adair tracks as much as the rubber, lots more chain windup there. Also, I didn't know there could be 2,3, as much as 6 inches difference in the circumfrence from tire to tire. This could be huge in how the machine handles.

RD; at your convenience, please take a look at, and provide comment on post titled "conquest tire size...." started on 1 Jan 2012. I tried to PM but your box is full. Thanks for all the top shelf info on the site. Thanks, Phil

"Why did he have to take the whole track system apart? They look like they are just screwed into the faces."

He had to take the tracks apart so he could drill all the hole (drill baby drill .... )

"Did you put anything inside your rubber tracks to help with tire slip"

I will keep a can of Canadian tire silicone spray / ArmorAll around if it ever happen

I have been under the impression that these tracks can cure cancer; is it true ?

Kyle, I'm not mad at all.

The guy installed the studs this week so he was not able to test them (he had to take the WHOLE track system apart to drill all the segments)

apart from the rock/ice, I would be concerned about your trails with all the tree branches coming between/through the grousers. I hope it will not destroy the track or the tires
