No Mark, I have thought about it but have had a myriad of back issues the last 2 years. My project list is long and way behind schedule but it is still something I would like to do, even to just make a set of brackets to do the simple mount adapt. I'm sure you know the biggest issue is probably making the bracket for the sticks with out the locating bosses in the 34-100 trans. I'm sure a different belt would be needed also as the trans lays forward.

I have a GP and MP here( splined shafts) along with enough parts to do 3 or 4 of the 617/618 transmissions G and M sets.

Hi, I read about rusty snapping a front axel at the snap ring groove. I run bearing cages and rubber tracks. Have you ever seen an axel snap at the groove with bearing cages? just wondering if this is something I need to worry about?

Thanks Marc, I play again later today, just to be clued in, the inner support has no cotter pin hole? May be that is why the gap looks so large? I'll have to look at my buffalo, didn't even think of that.

I have worked on both the 2 and the 4 . But never a Buff. I know the tub is just a 4 lower with the Buff top. But it uses the 2 jack shaft assembly to get the motor down in. I have No manuals at this time. Looking for some but none rite now. I was also told that the Max 4 axles will swap over ? It's an older one for sure so i was looking to upgrade the drive at this time. I haven't picked it up yet as it's alittle over 200 mile trip . So I am hopeing to pick it up soon !
Any help you can give me would be great !
As fare as the web site go's I hope he gets it up soon. I was realy hopeing to get my dealer deal back for the max but I will just do what I gota do for now. Thank you

Hi this is Ted in Olympia Washington. I need your address to figure out shipping. I followed the video, and keep making the same mistake. I had to use sewing string to hold the thrust washers still during assembly. In all likelihood that's the culprit, but I just don't understand why the left stick has so little effect. Thanks Ted

Hey Mark, thanks for your advice. I added you as a friend if you don't mind. I'm pretty much at wits end. The last engine an 18 hp had no governer on it. The guy removed it. I've got all the springs on the governer now. I got one that goes as a tension spring and that is about an inch long. The other one is the one that attaches over the governor rod. So, I'm not sure what you mean when you say order a new spring?
