I built a camera mount for the Trackster using a Ram Mount, this is just a vid of a ride up into my back field to see how it works. Hard to tell, but the ditches are deep. and the hill I go up and down is very steep. Just thought I'd share...
Coop: Nice job on the video and mount. I'd love to see a video walk-around of your machine as well. The Tracksters are very unique machines and very advanced even by today's standards.
Thanks Coop. Thats one heck of a machine you have there. I really like the shaft drive to the hydraulic system, nice and heavy duty and no belts to deal with. I also like the fact that the engine cooling fan is right there in the open and it doesn't have to have intake shrouding just to channel cool air. I also like the breather assembly mounted high for easy access and fresh/cool air to come straight to the intake. I also think the rhomboid shaped track system is the most effective out there. Add the suspension system in as well and it all makes for an advanced machine. Thanks for taking the time to post these clips. I've learned a few things more about Tracksters today.
Thanks for the replies guys...
Noel...that driveshaft is not the original setup, I built that when I put the Vanguard engine in. The original shaft is a funky 2piece unit with stainless steel flex discs at each end, a real pita to get and keep in alignment. I've been using this machine for 3 years, no issues with it, very reliable.
