    It still died after 15 minutes or so. Started back up after 20 or so. Had to pull the neg wire on the coil to kill it when i got it in my shop. There is a cable from the cradle to the chassis and one from the chassis to the battery. I guess Ill check the one from cradle to chassis next.

        When I look at it I realize it cant be that ground cable. The starter wouldn't have worked without it.

          So it dies when it gets warm. No spark at spark plug. What kind of signal or voltage should I have going to the external coil? During crank.
