They will.....there are a few members that are running them on their Max II's. I believe they'll clear, but some members, just to ensure the tires didn't rub through the tub, heated the tub and slightly remolded it up. This seems to be pretty simple to do. Just be careful, because the short wheelbase, higher center of gravity, and very soft sidewall of the tire can make your Max less stable, especially at higher speeds, sharp turns, and on hills.

As JP said several forum memebers have done this- I would advise you to buy them from a dealer with a large stock of tires and buy the smallest set he has (the tires differ in height and diameter). I would heat the tub to make sure I had proper clearance. These tires swim very well on a MaxII and are great in swamp conditions. Your machine should be just about unstoppable with these tires and I would say you should be able to out perform other machines in most conditions about 85% of the time.

Good luck, I hope I get to see your machine in action one day

The Max2 is a very capable machine, the small tires are the only detriment. Your machine will be vastly improved with the bigger shoes. In fact, a properly equipped Max2 is one of the best all around amphibs out there.
