    Clutch for max II

I have a max II, having some issues with torque going up hills wondering if my belt the wrong size or the clutch springs worn out is there a way to test belt or know if there is too much play.....any help?

Try pushing forward hard on the laterals when you are going up a hill and sense the lack of power.

Belts do wear out......often the wear is on the sides that contact the clutch faces. The belt should be slightly above the lip of your driven clutch at rest. If it is too narrow it will sink in too low. Another possibility is the age, rubber will harden and lose flexibility over time, and it's ability to grip the clutches. Low horsepower machines may not even notice if that happens though
