Head, recoil, electronics, exhaust, fan case. Pretty much everything except for the block and jug I'd say. You never know when you might need the parts in the future.

You have to give folks a little more time to respond. Weekends are busy...

How is your 295 locked up? Is it just the rings stuck to the cylinder wall? Without digging through other posts, how much effort have you put into getting it unstuck? A lot of times, it's simply a matter of the rings sticking in the bore. Have you taken the head off yet? I'd take the head off to begin the inspection. If it's simply rings, soak, it down with a good penetrating oil and start hammering on the piston with a piece of wood, and a good (3 1/2 lb. minimum) hammer. Dont' get too aggresive to the point that you'll put the wood through the piston, but be aggressive. Spray the penetrating oil into the intake and exhaust ports, too. If it's the crank that's stuck, you've got substantially bigger problems, but my bet is the top end.

After you're able to work the piston down to bottom-dead-center, use the pull starter to try to work it back up a little bit, then knock it back down. Do it enough times so that you can pull the engine over with the pull starter itself. You'll almost definitely still need to replace the rings if this is your problem. Rings are commonly available on ebay for almost all the JLO engines if you look around.

I wouldn't jump on trashing it. It's more than likely salvageable in some form or another... Let us know how you make out.

I will try ll that. I had the thing soaking with marvel mystery oil straight down the sark plug hole last week. Theres no pull start just electric so i have to use a breaker bar. When i do its like moving in notches. I will soak more and remove the head tomorrow and let you know.

    Thanks for the help
