Rattling sound coming from New Briggs 23hp twin Vangaurd

100_2393.jpg100_2392.jpgI'm noticing a Rattling/low knocking sound coming from new 23 hp Vangaurd....no more than 5-6 hrs on motor. I put this in my Max II ...Took valve covers off to check clearance...seems good , .006...Rocker arms have lots of play (side to side) Not sure if this is even the issue..
    Anyone else experiencing this ??

You may have a rattle from the primary clutch. Remove the clutch and see if it still rattles. Clutch rattle is common at idle.

Sometimes the air box or lid rattles.
Everybody dies, but not everybody lives.
