IMHO:
probably the only for sure fix would be glue the tear and put a tube in it.......tires flex a lot. There might be a "boot" type repair sheet, like on tractor tires, but, I'd think on the bead it'd not hold. If you do install a tube, put a flap of soft rubber over the tear to keep sharp edges away from said tube,,,,,,or, maybe cover it with a layer of your silicone. good luck, Henry
