Core islands of North Carolina.

You catch a ferry out of Atlantic, N.C. I don't care much for fishing but love to ride my Argo on the beach. It is beautiful but gets cold in November, what the heck its all fun. On this island Portsmouth the old villiage is still there. The upkeep is the responsibility of the Park Service now, no full time residents. Last one left around 1980 or so. Got some good history there in the village and some mean mosquites, lots of them. Davis island is a little bigger and it has a light house. Another beautiful island. You catch it out of davis. You probably know all this. Whe was the last time you were there? The actual picture was shot about 5 miles from the village.

been years my dad built the water treament plants on hatteres and okcoke i go to the cape lookout light house everty time i go down and take the boat . i fish right in front of it . love the coast. miss the hell out of it . .

We camped in the light house area 2006. I will send you afew pictures that i took. Have the lighthouse in them. Don't get homesick.
