Here is my Max II with a little trolling motor hooked up. My friend Luke (in the picture) and I were trying it out in a creek by my house on a spring day when all the snow was melting here in Western New York.

Mike, it did speed up the Max a little bit, but nothing extraordinary. Im not sure on the HP or thrust of it at all. I just picked it out of the garbage from this guy that was moving. He threw a bunch of good stuff out. The motor just mounts to my hitch and clips onto the battery. Very easy to mount and use. If you could get one cheap, it might be a good idea. I would recomend using a heavy duty battery like an Optima Red Top or something so the motor doesnt suck all the juice.
