      We rigged the Rotax in Bud's machine with a the only belt we could find: one that was just a little too tight. It lasted for the two-stroke mod race, but in the geezer race the fan hub let go and took the fan with it. As dumb luck would have it, the flailing belt took out the secondary coil wires and shut down the engine before it could melt down. Lost the race, but saved the engine. I'll take that.
