      This was a wire photo of Scott Slonaker from 1970 ATV racing. I couldn't help it- had to buy the thing when JP told me it was on ebay. Scott was one of the very best, and a good guy. He usually stops in to see us at Pine Lake when we go out to play in June- always good to see him. We're trying to talk him into unpacking some of his pictures and video footage from the heydays of ATV racing so we can all see.

      Tracks in the early 70s were different than the Pine Lake track is now. Don't get me wrong, I love the Pine Lake track and it's a blast, but some of the tracks back in the day had deep mud holes, pits, bogs and really steep hills. Unless you were the first one into the mud, you got drenched.
