Here's a few pics of NATVA racing in the early 70s. The black Attex was the A-stock that I raced in A and B class. It belonged to Hydromike's Dad and could have gone around the track by itself!

      Don,

What kind of seat is that in the black Attex?

It's out of a light aircraft, George. The whole thing only weighed a couple pounds. We welded in onto light leaf springs and cut the eyes off the back. The springs pivoted on the front eyes and rested on the frame rail in the back. It wasn't as good as a shock absorber set-up but it worked and it was lighter. Come to think of it, I was lighter then, too.

Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

      (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far
