Daughter and I went fishing on the Fox River. Didn't catch any fish....that is until I figured out we were doing it wrong. Found a spot in the river where it was about 3 feet deep. Just shallow enough for the 24" AT189's to grab and blast upstream. Small mouth were jumping all over the place. One landed right in my daughters lap!!!!! She screamed like a little girl ( appropriately) until I told her it was ok. Now we know how to catch em next time. The Conquest did take on enough water today to cause the belt to slip. That was the signal to throw the bilge pump on. First time I had to use it since I installed it 3 years ago. I guess after being on the water for 4 hours, we took on a gallon or 2. Not too bad.

Sounds like you and your daughter had a good time.If you could get more fish to jump in the argo you wouldn't need a fishing pole.lol.It's always good to see kids get outdoors and off the games,computers,phones.sigpic -
Sounds like fun. We were at a group ride at Busco Beach a couple of years ago and several of us were playing in a small pond. A fish jumped up into Lewis' Avenger and he caught it. Here's the photo. Lewis is in the middle of the photo holding the fish up in the air:

We recently spent a couple hours forging up and down a brook with the avenger 8X8 and the only water that made it into the tub was splash from blasting up and over beaver damns! Fun stuff. These argo are rugged. As soon as the water level rises this late fall, I'll be running the brook with 8hp on the back!Comment
