Yogi, buddy, I have thought about this kind of swap several times. It was mainly because of hard steering, but since tuning up the clutches that is no longer the issue.
Have you considered moving the engine to the rear of the power pak mount and locating the T20 up front of the engine. The width of the T20 might just let you put the driven sprockets on the front axle and drive everything from there. Just a thought, but then I like to tinker like so many other of my multi-wheeled brethren here. //RR

looks like we have the same problem, hard steering, when running 20 + mph and adding a little steering input seams like you lose 1/2 your power
im not talking about hard imput just a little to correct drift.i have the gu low gear trans too, rode a max 2 and when you add brake input you dont
loose now power, different trans i know, and the t20 is alot quiter.do you think the cluch mod would help.dont really want to mod just thought it was a nessaity
for better control.thans for the input

20+ MPH?? Holy Crap, I can just get up to about 13-14MPH with mine, and it has a 27hp engine in it. How in the heck are you getting 20+ MPH out of a Low Geared Trany?

If the clutch mods you are refering to are to Shim the Primary Clutch Spring and/or Tighten the Spring in the Secondary Clutch, then NO, I don't think they will help with making minor course corrections at 20 MPH.
