    I’m going to buy a Mudd-Ox.
I spoke to Matt and he seems like a real honest guy. And for any amount of money, I’ll always go with the honest guy.

I know hydraulics well, since I have many hydraulic machines in my shop. I have also designed and built hydraulic machines. I’m more comfortable with this mechanical design for my intended use.

I’m embarrassed to say, but I feel I owe this to the forum... my sole hang up with the Mudd-Ox is the driver’s seating so close to the front. Which to me, looks goofy. Not to mention, it must feel like a roller coaster ride compared to the Argo.

    You guys were very helpful.

I noticed that there was a Mudd-Ox Discussion Group. Does this mean I’m not welcome here any more?

    Thanks again.
    Frank

Cool, a new Mudd-Ox owner! Glad to hear you were able to talk to Matt and the Mudd-Ox fits your intended use. The Mudd-Ox is a super cool machine and I bet you will really enjoy it. You better post lots of pictures and a couple videos as soon as you are out thrashing around. I look forward to hearing from you in the future.

        Keith.

I have ridden an 2010 ,Argo Avenger , 8x8 with Adair tracks on it, and the 2010, Mudd-Ox that I used to own also had the Adair tracks on it too. Having driven both machines on the same day, the heavier weight of the Mudd-Ox makes it ride about 50% more comfortable over bumps than the Argo Avenger 8x8 that I drove in the same off road conditions. For it's intended usage ,and for a person that is mechanically inclined , the Mudd-0x is great machine for the money.
