  • Avenger Bearing & Chain Life

found a 2009 argo AVG 750 efi for sale looks to be good shape from photo. 340 hours and 4600km tells me that bearing and chains are good and have never been changed and that argo is mech sound. so i guess what me looking for is this a good argo and what do you think about the hours and km on it?

I think it (probably) needs bearings and chains and the current owner doesn't know good from bad??????

Probably due for chains and a few bearings from what I have seen. Check it over closely.

I doubt the owner knows what a good bearing is.. he says they have never been changed and it has 340 hours. Chances are high the bearings are toast. Expect to need to replace all 20 bearings in it (8 inner + 8 outer + 4 jackshaft), all the chain. Check the brake pads too. They wear out faster in non-admiral trannys.
