Radiator fan belt 02 conquest

What's the easiest way to change the belt? Any tricks or tips ? Thanks

i've wondered this to as I have a spare belt just incase, but I would like to know before I have to do this in the field

Me too.... I guess nobody has changed their belt. It really look like it would be difficult to charge!

I have changed mine lol. I had the rad and such all off the motor to do so cause i changed the alternator belt aswell. Im not sure if there would be any other way to do it, I had it apart so i figured it would be a good idea to change it then :P The rad is easy to take off tho, 2 hoses, an overflow line and 4 bolts then she slides out the top.

I just checked the manual for the FD620 and it says to remove the rad. I too have changed my fan belt and the alt belt, there is no other way as the fan needs to come off the do this task.

Does anyone know the specs or dimensions of the alternator belt and the fant belt. The dealer in Norway do not have it since it such an old engine :-(
