Has anyone tried to add weight to the rear of the Argo to balance it.? .. Ok soooooo....The engine on the Argo conquest 8x8 is located almost directly over the front wheels... The bench seat is between the middle set of wheels....... And the rear I can lift up very easily.... So I thought, why not add weight to the hitch which is rear of the back wheels. I guess like a counter balance...and when you counter balance you need less weight than the front...... Then in theory I would say... It would not feel as tippy going down hill... Any thoughts, tests, videos. Anything ...? T

I carry a cooler and tool bag in the very back. Sometimes I have the kids back there with me and I've even had an over-weight inlaw in the back seat. I have no problems going down hills.. just lean back. But I do believe it is easier on the machine to turn with the front a bit nose heavy.
