  • Got me an Argo,,,WoooHooo !!

Well about 3 days or so ago, I see this 2000 Argo BigFoot on the rather local Craigslist,,,I ask him for pics,,a day later I get them,,It's orange,,18 hp Vangaurd, has the 18" supertracks, extra set wheels tires, winch, bilge pump, windshield kit, 2" hitch, and skidplate kit, and a snowplow and it's mounts !!

,,I'm like wow,,this puppy is loaded,,,yesterday I see the add now has the pics,,and it says trades possible !!! So I give him a call,,tell him I have a 2005 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 ATV,,he say's "Bring it Down",,,Well long story short,,left the Brute,,Came Home with the Argo and all the stuff on my trailer,,,even swap !!

Have the Original Owners paper work,,,that Paid ,,,Get this over $16 k for this and all the accesories,,,The guy I got it from PD $10k for it 2 yrs ago,,I traded my Brute 750 even for it figuring worth $ 5 k or so,,,will have pics on here soon.

It was'nt running to good,,did'nt want to Idle,,so we get it Home,,pull the air cleaner, spray some carb clean in the carb, pull the mixture screw out spray in it, blow out with compressed air,, the Bigfoot idles now,,is still alittle off,,,but made a big difference on how it runs ! Will try to get the pics up,,,,,Later,,,,Mark

Thanks Mudbug3, I have been lurking in here,,looking on Ebay,,at all the Argos, Max II and IV's, and other brands that come up,,but they mostly are 100's of miles away,,this Argo was only around 52 miles away,,and was a possible even trade,,,so I figured,,,most I have to do Is bring the Brute back home,,,But everything worked out OK,,,

It will definatly take some getting use to driving the Argo,,we had it around the yard last night with the lights on,,,,sure is different from driving ATV's,,gonna get it wet Today,,Ha,,Ha,,later,,,Mark

Thanks fellow Amphibian's,,,the Argo had 315 hrs on it when I got it !
We went for our first Amphibious water ride today,,,we soon found out the tires were on backwards,,,,LOL all my son did was go around,,and around in circles,,was kinda funny,,He's yelling,,"It wont go anywere" finaly we yelled try "Reverse",,went good then,,he backed out of the pond,,we switched the tires around,,What a difference, my other son was in it now,,,The BigFoot swims pretty darn well,,we have some video's of it in the water,,,if we can figure how to upload them. All 3 of us got in it at one point to try it quickly, I stood in the back,,while my 2 sons in the front, about 655 lbs,,total,,,I leaned forward to balance it out,,It did fine,,but was glad when it climbed out on dry land,,LOL,,that water is still Damn Cold. Later,,,,Mark

Those 25 inch rawhides swim pretty good on that Argo you just bought ---> especially when they are facing the right direction . It sure looks like you,re having a blast with your new 6x6 toy .

Looks clean! You can keep the front tires pointing that direction, the back do all the work in the water.
