  • Conquest rear floor pan

I was looking at the rear floor pan today. Got me thinking about building something a little more rugged down in it's place. Anyone do this to there machines?

i have the same machine, and wondered about doing the same thing! Let me know if you get something that works!

I have some pretty heavy guage tread plate laying around. I was thinging of using that or some aluminum treat plate. Then just drilling some finger holes to make it easier to lift out.

I've thought about this too for my 88 magnum 8x8 but think that anything other than the plastic would be really loud and annoying rattling around.

I have an Argo response 8x8 that i have a cut piece of 3/4 treated plywood in the front and rear compartments that works well. Gives me a nice stable platform. The rear platform slides up under the gas tank alittle and stays put very well. They are both covered with the fake grass/ carpet to provide a little grip when wet.

I will post some pics tomorrow. As i dont have any currently. I am planning on removing the fake grass carpeting and covering it will bedliner material or the rubber coating in the can to make it easier to clean.

Here are the pictures of the floor I have in my argo. The stock floor is still in place making this very solid and easier to stand in and more comfortable for passengers and myself as it feels muck sturdier

Looks good. Did you put anything on the bottom middle for support? Or is the plywood itself sturdy enough?

The plywood is sturdy being 3/4" treated. It is cut wide enough that it sits on pins. I stand on it with no problem and doesn't rattle or move around when I start riding in rough areas.
