  • 18" rubber tracks

My 8x8 argo now has 18" rubber tracks installed and I'm wondering what is the right tire pressure for all tires

    Thanks in advance

According to ODG(Ontario Drive & Gear) 5psi in the front tires, 7psi in the middle two tires and 6psi in the rears. Did you measure all your tires diameters at 5psi? All your tires diameters will not be the same and the smaller diameter tires should be in front then next size up should be in the rear. Search through the threads/posts under tires and tracks to find discussion on proper placement of your tires when using the 18" rubber tracks.

Akranger is right out of the book. Tires must be sized at 5psi and placed where he said. If you have the stock Argo wheel spacers and stud extensions I've started torquing lug nuts to 70 -75 foot lbs. I've found the manual is 55 but some wheels don't have the dimple pulled tight against the adapter at 55 lbs. been having less trouble with lugnuts working loose since. If the track is slapping under body you can add 1 psi front and rear to stop it. Have fun out there
