fuse block

94 vangaurd, 16hp.

I was tired of blowing fuses from running too many accesories. so I looked into the problem and noticed that only two circuits are running the intire machine. and only one of them is switched from the ignition. the other is full time.
it has a four fuse block but two are empty.

my question is - does the main feed for the block come from the egnition switch? It looks like a very thin gauge wire to be a feeder.

Sorry I hit a wrong button and posted befor I was finished.

i run a heater blower, fog lights, headlights, tail lights and a interior light, winch, bilge pump, one acc. outlet and electric fuel pump.

I would ike to run it all off a switched source. how do I turn my other circuits on my fuse block into switched circuits?
Any help would be great.

The white wire from the key is the source that is switched.
Looks like it feeds the fuse for the brake fan oil light and temp gauge.
The other 3 fuses are fed from the pos. on the starter relay.
Red feeds the ignition switch from the same line.
If you disconnect the feed wire to the 2 fuses that are not used and feed them from the white wire from the keyswitch
Then they will be switched and you can feed your fog lights and bilge pump after the fuses.
The diagram i have isnt showing a fuel pump but it could have been added.
Another option is run a heavy wire with a fuse at the battery to a relay that would feed the 2 spare fuses and energize the relay with the white (switched) wire from the key.

thanks for the reply, the 3 fuses from the pos. starter relay are "tanged" together inside the block. I can cut them so each fuse is feed independently, and then feed them from the white keyswitch wire? this white wire seems very thin coming from the switch, will it have a problem with the draw? I am concerned about melting.

Do not try to feed them directly from the white wire as this will put too much of an amp load on the ign switch. Do as Bazoo guy recomended, that is add an accessory relay and wire it so it will turn on with the key using the white wire to activate it. Draw the source directly from the pos side of the battery and use at least a 10 gage wire for the ground to the battery. Good luck and dont let the factory smoke leak out, its very hard to put back in. // RR
