I have the same issue with my frontier, we have made fake floor pans to fit in the existing indents in the floor and used the area underneath for storage. I purchased the Argo bag that hangs on the back of the seat and went to 1 inch tow straps that where a more compact . For longer day trips I am working on a plan for making a trailer our of a 45 gal plastic drum as simple and as light as possible for flotation and water proofing. I also picked up a couple of dry floatation bags used for canoeing to put coats and lunch in, they are versital and can double as personal flotation devices.
I am always looking for ideas.... have a good one!Ya ain't stuck til the winch cable comes out!!!

I found a neat spot to put stuff
I have older model Argos but it looks like the new ones have the same area
Above the battery behind and beside the intake there is this big cavity over the wheel well. I put a front loading plastic tool box with some foam rapped around the top back and bottom. It sits in there firm but I added a rubber tarp tie hooked in front incase the catch on the tool box releases. When I saw the new Argos at the cottage and sportsman show I noticed the same cavity. The only draw back to this location is added a little more weight to the nose when swimming so a seat bag may be better for that reason. Why do we waste tax money on bridges and roads when we can all just drive AATVs

I use Pelican high impact cases on the job and I highly recommend them. There are many types and sizes to choose from. Many are watertight, lockable, crushproof, and dust proof. They cost a few bucks but once you use one, you may not consider anything else. It can be strapped down on or in your machine. You could always use a well made heavy duty and waterproof cordura nylon backpack. I use both the case and the pack and strap them down on my racks or carry on the floor.

I have an idea that I am wanting to try out, but, due to lack of time, it has yet to materialize. On the asphalt rollers that my boss is manufactering, he is using 3/4" plastic on the bottom of the seat pan. I am wanting to have a piece of this cut to conform to the back of my Bigfoot. I would like to add hinges to be able to easlily access the floorpan and drainplugs. I have the blueprint in my head, but unfortunately I haven't had time to make it. If you want an idea of what I planning on making, go to the ODG website and take a look at the Argo Tractor and you will see what I'm talking about.
