Cellulose thinners on an Argo ??

OK guys, another question I have to get this snot green vinyl silk (?) paint of the argo. I've found, after much trial and error, that cellulose thinners shifts it pretty quick. It also doesn't appear to mark or damage the body tub, it doesn't remove the gloss or leave any marks. So thinners seems to be the way to go, BUT, is there anything I've overlooked about spraying thinners all over it?

Can anyone think of any long term damage I may cause ? Or do you reckon just go for it?
