My Dad just picked up our new to us 2005 Response with 100 hours on it... we found it from an individual and it has been garage kept and it shows... it is like new...tires even look new... the only option is a trolling motor mount and a skid plate. Goes tomorrow to my buddy to fab a winch mount and brush guard, we are also going to have him make a rack that bolts on the front over the motor, he is also going to make us a rack to keep the brush off us and to be able to haul stuff on top. I cant wait to get home and be able to play with it!!! We are very new to the AATV world!!

You might want to consider buying the winch mount from an Argo dealer. There was just a Conquest on Ebay that had the nose on it ripped through one of the headlights.....I'd bet money that was from a mount that wasn't properly made. With the hood opening so close to the winch, the plastic just isn't strong enough to hold up.

See if this link works and check out this kit. The hoop goes down to attachment points on the frame. The bkt w/the gussets goes inside the machine and connects to the hoop. The simple angle bkt goes outside. Hope this helps you out.

Also, the holes in the "gussets" on the hoop are to mount the relay, etc.

The factory kit works well but hard downward pulls can tear body, we just tore the other side at Busco so I looked into it. We had put a new kit in it after the first tear was there at the time of rebuild with new frame, found the problem to be the round tube on the frame let's the winch mount pivot downward causing the tear so that will be addressed before a body change,
The Response frame may be the same but can't recall, if so make a wedge so it can't teeter.sigpic
My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
Joe Camel never does that.
Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
