Just looking through the Argo manual (as you do, bedtime reading) and under chain maintenance (Duplex) I was surprised to see it says to remove a link if chains stretched ?? Is this the done thing ? Will one link stretch not damage the sprockets?
I wouldn't do it. In a short period of time you will have to replace not only the chain, but the sprockets too. Better to just replace chain when it needs it.
