Camo wrap???

Has anyone tried,or would anyone know if the camo wrap will stick to the upper body? Spray adhesive first?I'm talking about the camo wrap that guys stick on their trucks etc.
Always thought this would be a good way to spruce up an old unit.

A few members tried and it chipped and flaked off.

Mine came with camo tape and such all over it (<---see avitar) and it seems to stick. Problem is that the surface is not flat so grit will eventually get under the edge and lift it, and the HDPE is slick as hell too. I am trying to figure how to flake one and so far it is not looking too promising.
