Rod, finally got off my arse and posted the pictures of the sprockets in my gallery.

Upon closer inspection, it appears my factory oem sprocket may have walked along the axle shaft a bit side to side, causing a bit of premature tooth wear on the sprocket. (Checked for a bent axle so that wasn't it).

To counter this, I'm going to tap the exisiting shear pin holes to accept a 7/16 -14 set secrew. I'll bore out the OEM keyed shaft and do the same on it.

Thanks for the pics, it looks like you just keyed the existing hubs, yes ? That one sprocket's in bad shape, will it clean up ?

The one that's in bad shape,is the factory OEM Argo keyed axle. The other one is the factory Argo shear pin that was machined for keyways.

As to whether I'm going to use thebad one or not, I haven't decided. It was so covered in grease and crud, I failed to notice it's condition when it went into the parts washer for soaking. A friend of mine was the owner of the original Argo dealership here in Alaska, so I'll get his opinion on it.

Might weld it a bit and grind the teeth back in to shape.
