Hi all been looking up and reading on the argo for about a year now. I have a rhino 660 sxs and a Honda Foreman 500 I currently hunt with here in NC. I am getting ready to purchase a 06 avenger mossy oak camo with 36 hrs on it for 9k is that a good price on the unit it has a winch and brush guard on it that's all. I will be hunting swamps mostly with it so I will be adding tracks by next hunting season. Any info on the 06 avenger would be helpful.

I had a 06 Avenger and now I have a Conquest. I did have a lot of heat related issues with it (vapor lock, brake fade), but I attribute this to not buying an Avenger with the low (GU) tranny in it. The engine had to work to hard at my high altitude. I was a dog especially with tracks on. I know the altitude is not going to be a problem for you, but if you are going to be running tracks in a lot of mud I would make sure it had at least the MU or medium range gearing and definetly the HU or high range. The GU, MU, and HU mare stamped in the top of the tranny.
I would say with the low hours that is an okay price, but I have seen better deals on the net.
