    when I let off the throttle the tranny howls ,tried new fluid ,it did nothing,is there no hope other than earplugs 2001 bigfoot

    Lol,yeah,earplugs are the ticket. There is reported to be a product on the market to try and quiet them down. I have an '01 Conquest and the same thing,the trans is just downright noisy. I have not yet tried this stuff but it's "Case/New Holland # 9706315DS Friction Modifier". I have not seen any posted results of members using this additive so if you decide to try it,please post up some results.

        My 04 low geared Conquest trans is so loud it can peal bark off trees as I drive by. My 98 med geared Conquest is not bad at all. I've tried a few very expensive additives with very little noticeable effect.

            I got it to go completly quiet,I sold it .Just have my 04 left,thanks guys.
