I will have to make my piece of mind about a trailer for my Argo Hdi 8X8.

At first I saw a 63" X 120" Single axle with 14" tires.

Secondly a 63" X 120" Tandem 13" Tires.

Any advice base on your experience with these kind of trailers

I think a 5x10 trailer would be perfect for an Avenger HDI 8x8. Cargo weight is not an issue, as the HDI is about 1200 lbs. I would suggest the single axle 14" tires. Lighter weight then the tandem trailer and larger tires. Larger tires less = rpm the wheel hubs and less heat built up on long drives.

I pull my HDI on a single axle 6 1/2 x 12 foot trailer with 15 inch rims. It is more than sufficient for the load. I agree that double axles would be overkill for the reasons cited above. I would, however, suggest going with something a little larger than 5 x 10 as it will give you a little more wiggle room. Hope that helps.

I'd suggest at least a 6.5x12 in case you want a snow plow or tracks the rubber tracks are 6wide and so are the supertracks, I don't think the Adair tracks will fit in a 5 foot hole that doesn't give.

You might want to measure your machine, five foot wide is like putting a marshmellow in a piggy bank. My 2002 Conquest is about 62" wide with 25"x 12" rawhides.
