  • Chains and Tire Question

Has anyone found out that chains other then ones supplied by Argo last as long. I need all new chains on my 1987 8x8 and I found another distributor that is way cheaper then Argo. Any info will help.

Also, I need all new tires and have to go to the 22x10x8's. I also have the plastic tracks with this and I was wondering if I increase to this size from the 20's, how many sections of track to I have to add to each side for these to work. Thanks in advance.

For chains, you get what you pay for. With that said, there is no reason you can't use a different distributor. Just make sure you buy a quality brand chain like Diamond USA or Tsubaki that are known for lasting a long time. You will pay more up front but they will last much longer and keep you from replacing the chains as often.
