frame cracks

  • frame cracks

    So i am hopeing this is normal or there is a way to fix them. its a 1996 conquest and in 3 of the 4 corners there are cracks how hard is it to remove the frame its pretty much gutted so far. i have searched and really cant find anything about these cracks. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I only have torn down t-20 machines, but I would think an Argo tear down would be similar. If you take out all axles, the frame will just pull out. Of course the less bolted to the frame, the lighter it is and the easier it will be to get out
    l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

      cool thanks have you ever seen the frame crack like this should i try and weld it up are just leave it alone

        Attex's are notorious for cracks like that. Just weld it back up and maybe weld an additional small plate over the rail.

          Just clean it up well, then weld it. If you spray Pam cooking spray on the boot holes and bearing holes that will keep slag from sticking.... If your welder is flux core or stick....
