Can you run the wheel extension without tracks? Will the extension cause problems with axle or bearings?

    Thanks jacobsrf

I haven't done it yet, but I asked the same question about a year ago and was told it was ok to do so. Good info on the facebook page too! I'll head on over.....

Axle extensions will always be harder on things than without them. Think of your axle as a lever, with the outer bearing being the fulcrum. The farther out the force is applied the more the strain on the bearing and the axle at that point. This is why bearing extensions work so well. If you are running tracks, you should have them and the wheel extensions wont hurt a thing.

I would not recommend it. It is a lot harder on bearings, axles. If you are one that treats the unit with care you could get away with it. But if you like to push it to the limit. then you will have bent axles and broken parts. So to answer the question it,s a YES and a NO
