  • 2007 Frontier 6x6 New Tires?

I have a 2007 Frontier 6x6 that needs new tires, it has 24x10x8s I have looked at some of the older links and some of those tires recommended are not available any longer. I don't go in water to often and just wondering what replacements are available. I have seen the Carlisle Argo 24x10x8 s but they are a little pricey What cheaper options are available ?????? Thanks

The good thing is you have the clearance to go with big tires (with a 9" rim). The bad part is that you won't find any cheaper alternatives unless you go down in size (i.e. 22x11x08) due to the fact that you are running a 8" rim. If you had a 9" rim you would have many options (not good swimmers though).

I definitely don't want to go down in size....... So I assume the Carlisle Argo 24x10x8 s may be my best option. Now if I purchased 9" rims why would there be so many more options?? is that size rim used more for four wheeler s and other ATVs ??

Well do a search on google for 25x12x9 or 25x11x9 ATV tires and see what you'll find. There are a lot of chevron type tires in that size, why I am not sure.

i used to have the rawhide III's on my bigfoot, they where pretty good i thought. now i traded them with a guy who needed tires a little bit smaller for his tracks, so in trade for them i got the 25x 12x 9" argo tires. even bigger than my 25's! really like em so far, more ground clearence, faster in the water as well. barely enough room but it works.

the small tire is an old 22" i had laying around, big difference.
