Has anyone ever swapped out their twin stick steering on a argo to the handle bar one piece was it costly or worth it?

I was considering doing that for my 2000 conquest in hope it would make it easier for my daughter to steer. But after talking to the guys at Adair Argo, decided not to. The cost factor and having to craft a new firewall where the deciding factors.
