  • Argo Body Rivets

Does anyone know the details on the body rivets? I used 3/16 x5/8 aluminum, but they pulled through. The parts manual says 120-09, 3/16x1, are they the steal variety? will 5/8 do? I can get a box for a few dollars, if i buy through Argo, 1.19 each.

Use steel with 3/16 washers on the bottom.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

I purchased, 3/16 steel riviets, with a steel mandrel, with a grip range of .625 -.750. I purchased 3/16 stainless rivet backer plates (Washers). Online from McMaster-CARR. I paid $16.00 for 100 rivets and 100 washers, and $5.00 delivery. I hope this helps the next person looking for rivets. They sell many different varieties, including Sealing rivets.
