    2010 avenger 750 EFI

    I was looking at a used argo and was wondering if this model has the admiral transmission. I got my first argo this summer and I have to say I'm having a ton of fun with it. My current one is a 2008 580 frontier 6x6. I like it but would like to be able to carry more weight especially in water. Not really sure but the admiral transmission sounds like it would be a good option.

    Other than the new XTI any Argo with the Admiral trans should be denoted with HD or HDI, EFI should not have the Admiral though the HDI does have EFI.

        One thing to look for on the HDI is the hood scoop on the top of the hood. All of the 750's with the Admiral That I have seen had the scoop. This does not mean that all machines with hood scoops are HDI Admiral equipped machines, or the other way around. It is just a quick reference to look for. ARGOJIM's post is the best way to be certain it is a Admiral equiped machine.
