  • What size fuel line for 2004 Conquest???

I am having somewhat of an after thought. When I bought this machine a couple of years ago it had been setting around a lot so I changed out the fuel line and fuel pump. The previous owner had put in an after market fuel pump (NAPA) that had what I believe was an 1/4" fuel line connection.

I put an OME Kawi pump in it and I had a bear of a time putting the 1/4" ID replacement fuel line in it because the pump has a larger ID/OD shaft. I see that Argo dealers online sell both a 1/4" ID and a 5/16 ID fuel line, but they don't specify what model goes to what.

So what size line should I be using with this machine and if it is 1/4" are you guys just muscling on the hose to the pump like I did??? I know the carb fuel line input is a 1/4".

1/4 should be fine but we can test it.

Take the end off the carburetor and stick it into a jar. Turn the pump on for 30 seconds. Measure the amount of fuel delivered - need at least 180ml (tiny bit over .75 cup).

Well I matched the part # up from the manual to the part# the dealers are selling on line and it is 110" of 1/4". I just don't know why the pump flange is so much bigger. Thanks for the info John.
