Just seen a video of a 2014 650hd. It looks like argo finally has a hood scoop available to get better air flow. Hopefully this will eliminate the need to remove the hood during hot summer months.

Hood fan, 602-71 HOOD FAN KIT HDI/HD 602-71ARGO PARTS 602-71 HOOD FAN KIT HDI/HD should eliminate any heating problems with the engine, brakes and tranny. Makes perfect sense with all the working, heat generating mechanical components inside a plastic tub.
even if your running a older model I'm sure theirs a way to rig some kinda fan in a modified or after market hood. I was even thinking of looking into another one in the exhaust side of the tub but at this time of year it's not on my list of priorities.
