  • fixing argo tube hole ?????

was out putting in a new starter in my 84 today and replacing tires so all match in size for the tracks, when I noticed large holes in my tub where it over hangs the tires on both sides of the drive spot.

any one have any ideas on what to use or go about it
holes are about 6-8" long by 1-2" wide

any help will be appreciated specially come spring

You can purchase pieces of HDPE fairly cheap. You can clean up the worn places, removing any really thin spots around the hole(s) and then plastic weld the new pieces in where the holes are. Search this site for plastic welding hdpe and you should get some good results.
